pleasant stay with some minor issues
The room provided ample space for relaxing, a bonus for a couple. Daily room cleaning ensured a fresh atmosphere, complementing the appealing scent throughout the hotel.
I found some amenities not as modern as expected.

comfortable but could improve on cleanliness
The room was comfortable with nice decor and the bathroom had plenty of amenities. The location was superb with easy access to public transport which made it convenient for sightseeing.
The cleaning could be more thorough as I noticed some dust in the corners.

100% recommend for a lightning trip
Comfortable room, great location, with a big comfortable bed and a clean room that allowed easy access to nearby transportation options like the trams and buses.
No negatives to mention.

Noise from street traffic and banging radiators kept me up during the night, which definitely detracted from the experience. The shower hose was incorrectly fitted, which caused water to spray awkwardly instead of flowing properly from the shower head. the breakfast setup left something to be desired. cold items like salmon weren’t replenished efficiently, and the absence of cold plates felt like a misstep. On a related note, various guests wandered in during breakfast without checks, highlighting a gap in security. the facilities felt a bit dated and could use some sprucing up.

Had a fantastic time with friends! The location is perfect for walking to the castle and the Royal Mile. Our room was cozy, and the staff were friendly. The breakfast had plenty of options, but we found better prices at nearby cafes. Highly recommend for a group trip!
Only downside was the overpriced menu at the hotel restaurant. We chose to eat out instead.

It was just an optimal selection for a weekend jaunt in Edinburgh with very good value for money. I loved the fun touch of the rubber duck to take home and the elemis spa products in the bathroom. Make sure to arrive early if you’re driving, as parking fills up fast.

Our stay was fantastic, especially with the lovely lavender night mist and thoughtful little rubber duck for photos. We enjoyed relaxing in the cozy lounge and taking advantage of the well-equipped fitness center. Just a heads up, accessing the car park can be a bit tricky, so plan accordingly! 😊

Our stay was delightful! The room was cozy with a comfy king-size bed that ensured we had a restful sleep. Some noise from nearby rooms.

I really enjoyed the spacious Queen Room with comfortable bedding. It felt cozy and well-furnished, allowing us to relax after exploring the city. The bathroom had nice complimentary Elemis toiletries, which made the experience feel a bit special. Breakfast offered a good range of options, and we liked the idea of ordering items instead of a buffet, as it felt more personal. I ran into a problem with the noisy radiators. They made a racket all night, which was quite disruptive. The reception staff seemed overwhelmed during busy times. there were instances where they didn’t acknowledge us quickly. Once, I asked about storing our bags, and despite the initial agreement, it felt like we were bothering the staff. This inconsistency in service really stood out. The location was excellent, less than 10 minutes from the city center, making it easy to access popular attractions without hassle.

Ideal for couples escaping the chaos
The staff at the hotel were really good. I loved the little comforts in the room, like the plush robes and the Nespresso machine. The location is fantastic, short walk to the tram for catching a show in the city, couldn’t be better!
It wasn’t exactly budget-friendly, but you get what you pay for and it’s still acceptable.
